Today, I met with a dear friend, Nelda Panell for lunch. After lunch Nelda prepared 60 sewing kits to make a drawstring purse. These kits will be used to teach the girls at Lulwanda Children’s Home how to sew. When they finish, they will have a drawstring purse/backpack to carry their school supplies and personal things. If you don’t know Nelda, you should! She is an awesome friend and an artist when it comes to sewing and quilting! Thanks Nelda for your continued support of our work in Uganda! We are now 3 weeks from our departure. Final preparations are being made, lesson plans finalized, boxes packed and shrink wrapped and praying for God's will in the lives of each of the team. Amazing things always happen when we are in Uganda and I cannot wait to see what this year brings.
